Wednesday Morning

The Prayer Push for Peter last night was amazing! The parking lot was so packed and there were probably 50 or 60 people there, not to mention the live stream that had 700+ views the last time I checked. I was filled with faith and hope and excitement about God coming through for me and my family!

Peter slept some last night, but his pain got up to 9/10 again this morning. Shift changes are proving to be a real struggle, so prayers between 6:30 and 8:30 AM and PM would be great. Despite our heads up and strong advocating, things are still getting dropped and that just needs to stop.

Pray for our entire floor/unit to have a spirit of life, compassion, joy and wisdom. Obviously there is some exhaustion on the family's part going on, but we sense an atmosphere change needs to happen. I believe the Pray Push has begun that shift.

Our community is so amazing! We love how faithful and constant you have been in the past days and we believe you will stand with us through however long this process takes.

WorshipArts Camp begins Monday and we have an amazing team ready to run it with lots of input from Peter. Prayers for them, William Wright, Austin Long, Hannah Balasa and Andrew Beauman specifically, appreciated. Also pray that I can stop thinking about it since obviously this is going to be so great! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Please believe with us that the biopsy results come today and it is a good report.

We have a CT Scan at 1:30 pm to check on the pain. Prayers for an amazing report there, too!

We love you, friends!!

He brought me to the banqueting house, And his banner over me was love. Sustain me with cakes of raisins, Refresh me with apples, For I am lovesick. His left hand is under my head, And his right hand embraces me. I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, By the gazelles or by the does of the field, Do not stir up nor awaken love Until it pleases. The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes Leaping upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, he stands behind our wall; He is looking through the windows, Gazing through the lattice. My beloved spoke, and said to me: โ€œRise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away! โ€œO my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.โ€ Song of Solomon 2:4โ€ญ-โ€ฌ14 NKJV http://bible.com/114/sng.2.4-14.NKJV

Every time I read posts and prayer requests I feel such hope and admiration for what God is doing in your community which I am a part of. Be very intentional about your time and space. Get what YOU need for you and your family, the way that YOU need it, not the way people want to give it. Whatever you need SAY SO. Your community loves and cares for you and we only do what we know to do, therefore, its up to you to advocate for Peter and your family (love you Tami) and let your community know what you need us to do or not do. It is OK to say NO! For example; if you had a situation where a doctor told you your child cannot have any applesauce in order to heal at a faster rate, you would do everything in your power as a mother to make sure there is no applesauce within 50 ft of your child, right? Well apply that same passion where ever you need to so that Peter gets the space to heal faster. My husband and our six children (known as the Carter Crew) are praying for you. We are connected to you through Tami and Tami knows I will do anything to help my friends and family. Watching you praise at the prayer blast encouraged so many of us that it was refreshing. All we could do was praise along with you. Webb family we love you and are just a call away. That is not a cliche that I say but it's the life I live everyday. Leona Carter

I continue to pray and declare God's healing touch of power on your body. He is soooo much bigger than any of our problems or illnesses. He loves you and will not leave you or forsake you.

We are praying daily though we missed the prayer push. Praying for healing following the surgery. Support for the family and Peter with the emotional end of things. Praying for closer relationship with God for every person who has been impacted by this. For good peaceful sleep. For the medical end of things to be effective, timely, and abundantly competent. For everyone stepping in to make camp a success, as well as the campers. Knowing my God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than I ask.

Remeberthat the staff in hospitals is almost always short. And that each nurse and PCA have multiple patients they are responsible for, most of them with an attitude that they deserve one to one attention. That said, if people are nasty or lazy, that is inexcusable. If you have any questions or concerns about policy, but are not sure you want to go the patient relations route yet, you could message Kate. She may have ideas or perspective to offer. Praying. Love you.

I've been thinking of you guys so much the past few days, and thinking of how your lives have impacted me. You both gave me a safe place when I didn't have one, and I know safety will come for Peter. Lots of love and hope sent to you.
