Friday Evening
Wow, we've had a busy busy day! Did the little surgery to get Peter's port in for chemo, met with our nurse navigator, saw our oncology team, met with Dr Yoder, and things are moving forward to potentially discharge in the next day or two as long as pain stays under control. Oh, and we got the AWESOME MRI results: unremarkable. 🙌🏻
Had family and a steady stream of friends visit too, and had a productive meeting for camp, and both have been great for Peter. He also played the guitar for the first time since all this happened. It blessed my heart so deeply! Also, met a man who had this at age 27, had chemo, and went on to have children many years later!! Come on Jesus! That's what we need to hear!
To be clear, this is testicular cancer, which the doctors are telling us has spread to his abdomen lymph nodes and is in lungs (they deduced this without further biopsy). Please pray specifically for these areas!
My extroverted husband is loving all the people, and we are learning power naps make a big difference for his energy. (My introverted self has had to slip away a decent amount to keep up with my husband, which I find hilarious). We are hopeful about keeping the abdominal pain under control and going home tomorrow.
God is so, so good to us!

❤️❤️❤️
You all are so strong! Adam and I will be praying for everyone in this time of transition. We will be specifically praying for those areas and commanding them daily to be healed and for cancer to go! We love you guys!!
Feeling so happy and encouraged! And tickled! Thinking about Peter and his energizing power naps and his extroverted enthusiasm. OmiGOSH!! And Tori trying to find a quiet place!! Makes me think of an 8year old kid, home sick from school, but bouncing on his bed, teasing the dog and in general just having himself a good ol' time, - impossible to keep quiet!! Impossible to keep down!! Well, after this week, Peter Webb definitely deserves some fun!!! Yahooo!!
