We are home & A sign from God
Oh friends, today has been a great day! Long story short, we are home!!! I want to write more but it's late. Here are a few important things we want you to know:
▪️Any visitors need to speak to Tori first--please don't show up to the house unannounced.
▪️If I don't get back to you about anything, ask again after two days or so. If you have offered me help I've probably lost track already, so please do so again.
▪️Peter doesn't get on his phone much in case you've been reaching out to him.
▪️Practical ways to help are going to be so needed and welcome, but we have a few more appointments to go to so we can learn diet restrictions, if we can have flowers or plants in the house, etc. going forward. Feel free to ask or offer, but just contact me after a few days if you don't hear back.
▪️If the Lord has led you to send a gift card or a financial gift, please send it to New Day Community Church, 3600 Nichols Road, Kalamazoo MI 49004 with a separate sheet of paper or sticky note designating it to Peter Webb. (Your generosity has been crazy astounding--thank you!!!)
AND NOW FOR A TESTIMONY 🙌🏻
I find it incredibly powerful and inspiring that this sign (pictured) was on my wall in my kitchen for at least four weeks. It's possible it had been on the wall for months. It says: "YOU CAN HANDLE IT!" And "A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like cancer in the bones." Proverbs 14:30
I wrote these things to encourage my family, and the verse because I had seen that both Peter and I had been sick often in the last year. I actually wrote the smaller text tiny on purpose--because who in a normal circumstance writes the word "cancer" on the wall in their kitchen?! But when I thought about only putting 1/2 the verse up, I felt a check in my spirit to honor the Lord with the whole verse. I believe this is a sign from the Lord that my perspective on cancer is rooted in scripture, that I have already been interceding against this without even realizing it, and that God's peace is going to bring freedom and fullness of health!!!! My God is SO SO good to me!

Wow! So glad y'all are home! So glad you take time to post updates so we can weep/rejoice/pray with y'all. What a powerful testimony!! God was already preparing your hearts and minds for this part of your journey. Prayers will continue for peace, strength, patience, y'all, your families, the medical personnel, and God's protection covering y'all. To God be the glory.
Praise God - so glad you are home. Will keep praying. This reminds me of Mark Hall, Casting Crowns, writing "Just be Held" and him having kidney cancer the following year. Keep clinging to Christ and the promises from His Word. Psa. 62:5-8. Praying. . .
