Cycle 2, Day 3 - 7/26/17
From Peter:
The third (main) tumor marker went up, but they told us it probably would after the first round of chemo. Apparently breaking apart and killing tumors and cancer cells can release extra markers into the blood stream like a cloud of dust during demolition. Everyone here is confident.
The cancer center is such a blessing to have here. Everyone's so used to doing all the procedures that everything goes so quickly and smoothly. Three times faster than the hospital. Free massages too.
Third day of my second cycle, and I'm doing very well. Finished a burrito the size of my shoe last night. Probably contributed to my huge spike in weight this morning. Can't taste anything except a bit of salt and spice. Trying to enjoy the textures. Still walking a few miles every day.
Pretty much spend each day dozing in a recliner for 7 hours while they pump stuff into me like a water balloon. Go home and eat, walk, be with family, and hit the bed hard. Do it all again in the morning.
Very drowsy. Gonna end the update now.

Continuing to pray
We are all I this with you Peter. You are doing great!!💕
Don't know if you've met Steven Stone or not there yet, but he's a wonderful Christian. Kay Ruiter, receptionist, is also a committed Christian. If you need people to pray with you there, they would do that. Glad you are able to go there for treatments. Praying for all of you.
Thanks for including us in your journey. It is faith-building and a blessing to me to see how faithfully you are walking through this. Your attitude and your trust are inspiring! And I love hearing your sense of humor. Rest well!
