8/14/15 CT and CEA Tumor Marker Results
Hello, Fabulous Friends and Family!
It's been a while and I have so much to say about these last 3 crazy weeks (trust me, super crazy!). But, alas, I must put that off until the next post. But I just had to write a quick update for you.
I just heard from my Oncologist's nurse who called to give me a brief update from my CT Scan yesterday (Thursday). It looks wonderful! No new growth and all looks stable. I'll get a more in-depth report at my appointment this coming Monday. And I'll be sure to tell you more. But, yay!!!
Also, my Tumor Maker has dropped AGAIN! I thought 9.7 was low (from Chemo #10). However, as of Thursday, it's down to 5.6! Yay! I am so happy. 0-3 is "normal", which few people (including me) are (I mean that all the ways that it can be taken!), so 5.6 is pretty close. Yay!
Anyway, just thought I'd share my good news with you before the wonderful Sabbath and weekend. (Summer weekends are the best!). Thank you all for your amazing prayers and encouragement. It's made this journey so much more bearable. You are INCREDIBLE!

Sarah -- this is some terrific news! We are really thrilled about this. We will be praying and looking forward to more confirmatory news after your appointment on Monday. In the meantime, I hope you have been able to get some recovery time in. We are praying for your Mom, and look forward to hearing some good news there too. We are in Tacoma for the Sabbath tomorrow, and look forward to discussing your positive news with friends there. We saw Frank in Seattle last Sabbath -- nice to see him. We wish you a most uplifting Sabbath. We are doing King David's joyous "dance before the LORD" with you!

Such terrific news Sarah!! It is so inspiring to hear how God is answering our prayers for you. We know this life is just a "dress rehearsal" for the real deal, but we take such comfort in knowing that our heart cries are heard and answered.
