Been a Busy Few Days....

It's been a busy few days but we have made it to Denver and all is good.

Yesterday we drove from Aspen to Denver.  The drive normally takes about 2.5 hours but took 14 hours yesterday.  Yes I said 14.  First they closed I-70 in Glenwood Canyon where we sat for two hours.  After we got on our way, they closed Vail pass so after waiting again we back tracked to Minturn and took Tennessee and Fremont Pass and got back on at Cooper Mountain.  We left Tom's car in Vail and will get it in a few days.  Tom drove from Vail to Denver.  It was gnarly and he Rocked.

Today was my first Chemotherapy appointment and it went great.  The biggest problem I had was the Diphenhydramine 50mg IV I got to help prevent allergic reaction.  It f____d me up so much for 1.45 hours I could barely function.  Again...LOL

We got done early and went down for Radiation therapy two hours early and they had an opening and immediately took me. We got out out UCH way early which is great. Did I mention UCH rocks !

We went grocery shopping and have checked into the Extended Stay and believe it will be great.  There are two bedrooms, a living area, and a kitchen.

The time for planning, arranging, and logistics have ended. 

Now it is time to focus on the treatment, shrinking, and/or stopping this things growth, a quick vacation while I get strong, then surgery  Time to kick ass!!!

Now for some food, a safety meeting and some chill-ax time... :)

Tomorrow, I plan to work on computers during the day and get some exercise.  My Radiation appointment is not until 4:40pm.
