day 3 post op

Day 3. Eric was moved to a really nice stepdown unit with a cool view of the mountains. He's doing really better than expected for the surgery he's had. He walks around the unit 3 or 4 times at least twice a day. He's recovering quickly. He started to recieve a small amount of food thtough his J tube to get his gut going again. The barrium swallow is monday and that will tell if he's able to take small amounts of food by mouth. He's in good sprits and more determined to recover as fast as he can.......tom
