Surgery went well and we got great news!

Surgeon said they aren't masses in his body as appeared on the scans to the doctors, so nothing malignant. Praise the lord!

He has Necrotizing Pneumonia and infection. Not sure the cause, maybe he inhaled something at some point that has been there a while forming. Basically what looked like masses are like pockets of jelly like infection stuff that must be treated for an extended period of time with antibiotics.  This is what was so confusing to the doctors.

He'll have another chest tube in for 1-2 days depending how things continue draining. But from what the surgeon said, we treat for infection and come back for more scans in 6 months unless he has any difficulties prior.

We can tackle an infection!! 💪🏼
