We are stopping the day count at this point, it’s too stressful for his family. We will date the update only. Needless to say it’s been a long time!
Today was the split in half with 1st half being very traumatic for Walker and 2nd half a triumph. Essentially after being on this machine for this long with all the tubes it’s not uncommon to have blood issues that need fixing like leaky valves on home plumbing. So they had to fix some valves this am and then cleaned up the work area accordingly.
Then he napped for a couple of hours before the team prepared him for his 2nd walk down the hall. He is getting strong and his trip today was 4 times longer than yesterday’s and he made sure everyone knew it :-). And after his bath from this messy morning, his mom told me he only said this “Thank you Tiffany (his nurse) for all you do. I know you got frustrated with me this morning.” And she said, no it wasn’t you it was the situation I came into”. And says, “No really thank you Tiffany.”
Thats a very sweet boy!, says his Mama. That’s our Walker man 👨 May God bless him with a supernatural healing that surpasses all understanding. Thank you Jesus for getting him through today and thank you for lifting him up tomorrow.
