Faith not only can help you through a crisis, it can help you to approach life after the hard times with a whole new perspective. It can help you adopt an outlook of hope and courage through faith to face reality. John Maxwell
This week Walker had lots of visits to his doctors establishing his outpatient status. Most everything went well with progress in all areas. They did see some issues on his chest X-ray which prompted them to schedule a meeting with another doctor in Dr. Botta’s Group, a thoracic surgeon, just in case there are needs down the road. It wasn’t a he best news he could ask for but it is the reality of his difficulties. Then they took more labs and we will know more early next week about these results.
He has been walking the neighborhood sidewalks gaining strength, doing PT regularly improving strength. Stomach still is a pain not working well and probably won’t work well for many months to come as the doctors have confirmed it takes a long time to get digestive system working properly again after going through the type of trauma Walker has suffered. The good thing is he doesn’t seem to remember to many details of the tough stuff we witnessed.
Life is slowly returning to a new normal. Staying close to home taking care of our Walker man. Putting back the pieces of our life figuring how things will fit together now. I plan to continue writing about Walker and Faith and my family life starting a new blog but for now I’ll use my business blog, see link below.
We have faith that God will continue to bless Walkers recovery and strengthen us to handle the road ahead. Please pray for the continued healing of Walkers lungs, his kidneys which he thinks will return, and his stomach to keep getting stronger. Time is the sav that heals all wounds.
God Bless you all
Dave

We just keep on keeping on every day Dave and thankful for every minute we can look at Walkers sweet face - God Bless Him -
Continuing to pray and hope....
Thank you Dave, for keeping us all updated during the painful, prolonged and life changing journey of the Miracle of Walker making it home!! Our faith was surely tested beyond our wildest dreams... GOD IS SO GOOD! This last journal entry is bitter sweet. Sweet because God answered our fervent prayers and gave Walker renewed LIFE! Bitter because I will miss the weekly collective community gathering together in prayers for Walker and this family that ultimately gave us strength to endure the trial and renewed and restored our FAITH in GOD. I look forward to your new BLOG on family, faith and keeping up with WALKER 2.0!!!!!!
Walker, so glad to see that you have made it home! Keep the faith and continue getting stronger each day. We will continue to pray for you that God will heal you and that you will be feeling better physically each day. God is our strength and comforter, stay close to him and he will be with you as he has led you this far.

❤️ As Jesus said, “It is done (finished)!” Always remember that healing or deliverance has already been done, for anyone who chooses to BELIEVE they have been healed! We don’t have to plead and beg God to heal us. It is God’s will that we be healed and whole. Rather than pleaded for something we have already been given, we need to reach out in faith and RECEIVE our healings !! Thank God for the healings even before you see it happening. “Your FAITH has healed you”, says the Lord ❤️
