Learning from Both Adventures and Non Adventures

I tried to upload a video a couple of days ago, but I guess I got too long-winded, and the file was too big to download.  

I just walked to the end of my driveway and back for the first time!  Furthermore, when I got back to the porch, my foot wasn't nearly as swollen and red as it was just a couple of days ago when I would have it down without walking on it.  I definitely think going on an antibiotic was the right thing because it was much less angry even by my second pill. [...]

Healing Can Be a Bit Ugly

Home Sweet Home


My parents came and picked me up yesterday, I wish I had a photo of my loaded down camping wagon.  My dad brought bungees so he would only have to make one trip, and during my dangle time prior, I worked on packing everything in and balancing a bunch on top. [...]

Slow Down, Girl!

The hardest thing for me as I finish my hospital stay and head home will probably be to be conscious of not pushing myself too hard.  

My goal is to be able to walk the beach by mid July and not to have to be on a “ride-along” during a family bike ride by then. I think those are manageable goals.[...]
