The last time I posted my foot felt like it would explode during each dangle — and I was stressing about Lizzy’s health and accumulating schoolwork.

It's great to be home. Right now I'm sitting on our front porch, all bundled up in my comfy bathrobe and a quilt since it's surprisingly nippy out. I'm surrounded by birds of all sorts chirping away, and some of the flowers gifted to me are decorating the tables beside me. [...]
My parents came and picked me up yesterday, I wish I had a photo of my loaded down camping wagon. My dad brought bungees so he would only have to make one trip, and during my dangle time prior, I worked on packing everything in and balancing a bunch on top. [...]
This was supposed to be attached to my last post, but when I added photos, it kicked the video off. [...]
The hardest thing for me as I finish my hospital stay and head home will probably be to be conscious of not pushing myself too hard.
My goal is to be able to walk the beach by mid July and not to have to be on a “ride-along” during a family bike ride by then. I think those are manageable goals.[...]

Just because a couple people wanted to know how the “dangles” went, I thought I’d post.
They went well. We did three throughout the day for five minutes each. The first was at 6:30 AM! My foot feels heavy and prickly and the implant hurts a bit and feels pressured, but the Doppler stayed strong.
My visitors in person today were Mom and her dear friend Lynn. We had a great chat. They ate at the Pine Barn and then brought some delicious tomato bisque to me. Lynn brought a beautiful teal blanket, a bag of great snacks, and someone from Mom’s church sent an adorable little Jesus. [...]
