This morning the Doctors reported that Brenda had slight improvement since being on the KCI RotoProne Therapeutic bed, however they reminded us that this is still a "wait and see" situation. She is not out of the danger yet. She is placed on her stomach for 6 hours and placed on her back for two hours, then rotated 60 degrees to the left and 60 degrees to right. At noon today the team placed her on her back and to do the dressing change, this will happen twice a day; noon and 8 p.m. Her urine output was at an acceptable rate and as long as that continues they will not use the 24 hour dialysis treatment.
