My new best friend

I never knew how much I could love a "cough pillow"  which I am now jokingly calling my "cocaine packet" because it looks just like what you'd see in a drug bust.

My my latest stats check, bp, resps and dis O2 all great but I have a little temp of 37.4C.  Working on getting that down.

Glad to see you can tell jokes! That's the next sign of recovery from surgery. Keep 'em coming! g

Bruce's grandfather used one of these "best friends" after heart surgery. Pretty sure he never called it a cocaine cushion, but he would be amused! It looks so pristine. Can you collect signatures or doodles on it? Hope this unplanned "adventure" gets easier every day. Stay cool. Love, Milly (mother-in-law for those who don't know Michelle's nickname for me)

Sally, What a good idea! I can collect signatures all over it like a cast. Today is the first (post op) day that feels easier than the previous. But the path ahead also seems so so long. One day at a time. Hugs, MK

Just be careful getting that thing through customs. You'll recall, I had nothing but a bad night's sleep on me and I got red tagged for an explosives residue swab. I got most of the medical jargon except for "reaps". What's a reap?
