EMG Results from MN

Conclusions:

"There is electrodiagnostic evidence of a moderate right suprascapular nerve injury distal to the supraspinatus, but proximal to the infraspinatus.  The nerve had re-innervated part of the infraspinatus but has not been able to completely re-innervate it.

There is decreased activation of the right superior trapezius, but no evidence of denervation.  The lack of acctivation could be related to pain, muscle injury, or upper motor neuron injury.

There is no electrodiagnostic evidence of right upper extremity motor radiculopathy or plexopathy."

Well....there we go.  Another valuable piece to the medical puzzle.  This will be very useful information for the team operating on me today.  Godspeed!

Thanks for the update, honey. Thank God for our anonymous angels who saw to it that this surgery was possible. I've lit the candles, I'm burning the smudge - no negativity allowed, :-D You are in good hands. The Great Physician is right in league with Dr. Cole, his colleagues, the nurses, the staff, and all involved in your successful recovery. Abundant miracles abound. Godspeed indeed! Thank you God!
