Team Condidorio
Each day as you log onto Facebook you can see post after post about bad news, trauma, war, etc. These are often posted matched with the words like, “What is this world coming to?” or “Humans are horrible”. About a week ago, I would have felt the same way about my Mom’s illness. I would have said LIFE SUCKS! Actually, I still believe that her illness is wrong and that she doesn’t deserve this, however, over the weekend I have also seen goodness. Flowers came to the house, cards poured in through the mail, and the door opened and closed as loved one’s came to visit and brighten my mom’s days. We were sitting on the couch snuggled with the computer in our laps and mom said, “There is so much goodness in this world.” It is so typical of her to see the positive in this situation and always be the one to try to make me a better person with her encouragement and love. Through a horrible illness, so many unanswered questions, and so much doubt, she is able to see the goodness that YOU have all brought to her in only four days.
Two days ago I was in awe that 700 people had viewed this site. This weekend that number grew by the hundreds each hour that I checked. There are now over 12,000+ views and so many comments that have brought a smile and sometimes a tear to my mom’s face. These comments have come from a variety of people from old high school friends, to family members, and even to the parents of the many children who have had the privilege of having my mom as a teacher. Each of your messages has been so meaningful and has made her feel so loved that my family and I cannot ever think to repay you. My mom and dad both wanted me to thank you from the bottom of their hearts. Please continue to message, text, email and call as we have just begun this long road ahead of us. We love you. I will continue to update every few days as she is currently undergoing tests and doctor’s appointments today and tomorrow.
We now have a new saying thanks to my mom’s brother John. As most of you know, our family is a wrestling family through and through. We each have a Team Condidorio t-shirt from when my brother went to the state tournament. Uncle John said, “You supported all your kids during their competitive battles, and now it's time for us to support you! I call out all "Team Condo" members to break out that old T-shirt and wear it with pride! I predict Cris pins cancer in the first period.” I could not have said it better myself. GO TEAM CONDIDORIO!

The Condidorio's are an amazing and loving family - this may be one of the hardest fights you will have to face but with all of the support behind you Cris there's no doubt you won't come out on top. Even if at some point you feel you are "pinned down" that surge of hope will get you up fighting again. You have a lot of spectators out here watching you,, pulling for you and most importantly praying for you. Give it all you've got Cris and let God carry you through this - love and prayers to you and your family - The Fox's
