Celebrate Good Times, Come On!
First, I have to apologize for my lack of recent posts. I said that I would be better in the New Year but I haven't been. I hope this post makes up for the past few months!
Mom and I celebrated the coming of spring today with a celebratory walk with our baby Tucker! We have two occasions to celebrate; the beautiful weather and the good news Mom received at the doctor today. She has continued to take the “miracle drug” that I mentioned in my last post. It is a targeted therapy pill that has continued to work its magic to help her feel close to normal. We are so grateful for this. She had an MRI of her brain and it looked normal. After the appointment, she spent some extra time at the mall celebrating the news! You can never celebrate too much in the fight against cancer! (Especially when you are spoiling your daughter at LOFT...)
Our family is heading to the Dominican Republic soon. We are so glad that Mom is feeling well and can enjoy this vacation. Beth and Randy will fly from Florida and Marisa and Dan will be flying from Arizona to meet us there. There will be 11 of us total and we can’t wait to enjoy the sun, relaxation, and many laughs! I hope that this update finds you and your loved ones doing well. We continue to appreciate the warm wishes that you bring to us! Your love and support is amazing. Happy (almost) Spring! I will be sure to post photos from the vacation when we return!
