April Update
Hola! We had a wonderful trip to the Dominican Republic last week. We enjoyed the sunshine, togetherness, and lots of laughter. I always say that it takes a special kind of person to go on vacation with our family and survive. Ben, Melly, and Dan, congratulations, you did it! I’ve posted some pictures from our trip and there are lots more on Facebook!
Mom wasn’t feeling well during the trip so Dad brought her to the hospital as soon as we got back to the U.S. She was admitted and has been there since Sunday night. They found that there was a blockage in her kidneys and they needed to insert some drainage tubes into her back. She is hoping to be out tomorrow(Saturday) or Sunday. They are monitoring her fluids and stats to ensure that she is safe to go home. She has a few scans coming up so please keep her in your prayers and send some positive thoughts her way!

I know how much your mom and your family loved your tropical vacations. Each Spring when we would get together, talk would be of our up coming travels and whether or not we would fit into our summer clothes! Thoughts and prayers coming your way...
