Update

Emma has been doing really well on the new medicine so far. No real side effects that we have noticed, thank goodness! She is very focused and more attentive than usual, and is as much of a joy as ever! We are four days into treatment, so we will keep monitoring and reporting, and hoping for more strides forward! This morning she sat with me long enough to learn how to pull the cord on her Baby Beans doll, which is amazing! We couldn't be more proud:

I received a call from my Doctor this morning to recommend that I have an MRA performed as soon as one could be arranged. They want to look at my brain for bulges in vessels and anything that may look like an aneurysm. Surprisingly they have an appointment for me at 1:45 today. Wish me luck! I should have the results by the end of the week (but I'm not holding my breath on that one...) As you can imagine, I'm more than a little nervous. Last time anyone had an MRA was when we found out Emma had brain damage and tortuous arteries, so I can't help but be a bit scared! But it's important we know what's going on up in the brain of mine, so we can properly handle this pregnancy, and have a better idea how to treat Emmy.

Thank you to great friends for helping me with childcare at such short notice! (Here's looking at you Amanda and Patty)

Will update as soon as we have more news.
