CT Scan Results
I met with Dr. Back last Friday who immediately went into the CT scan results. He indicated that the cancer nodules in the liver and lungs have both decreased by over 50%. He also mentioned that this is better than what they usually see at this point with patients going through the same regime. The nodules in the liver and lungs were what Dr. Back was most concerned with, and he's pleased to see these nodules reacting positively.
Regarding the tumor in the colon, he indicated that there was a new spot filled with fluid which they are calling a cyst at this point, but they are waiting on additional information and would let call me to follow-up. I called today and talked to the nurse who mentioned that we'll continue to monitor this and look out for it during the next CT, but to them it isn't a big concern at this point. The nurse also said today that the radiologist didn't comment on the change in size of the tumor in the colon, only saying that there was no obstruction, but considering the way I feel (having to use the restroom less, no more blood in movements), I'd say the tumor has shrunk down as well.
Based on this information, we'll continue the same regime and stick to the same schedule for the remainder of the 6 months. While I was hoping for a miracle (that the tumors were gone completely), I am relieved the tumors on the liver and lungs are shrinking down. Your positive vibes, prayers, and hopeful thoughts are working, thanks again for all that!

This is wonderful news!!! 50% is pretty close to a miracle for the time frame you've been I'm treatment thus far. We will continue to pray and send positive healing vibes for further shrinkage! Maybe the next scan will show 100% clear. XX
I heard the marvelous news from your Mom when we had our get-together yesterday, but waited to hear the details from your update. Way to go, Jerome! Praise the Lord! As someone wisely suggested on a previous post, I have been praying by thanking Him for the healing that He is doing, rather than asking for it. I believe that the fact that the nodules haves decreased that much and is better that what your doctors usually see at this point with patients going through the same regime is already a miracle to me!
