11/8: Update - Hospital
Hey all, quick update.
Pain has been ebbing and flowing, but we got to see a lot of good doctors at Bronson today, heard from the doctors at IU, and we have a better plan for medication.
We are thinking pinched nerve is causing the leg pain. The abdominal fluid seems to be normal post surgery fluid and not something more complex. We need prayer for it to absorb and not return. Currently walking makes the abdominal pain worse, and sitting or laying down makes the leg pain worse. It’s a rough place to be, and we don’t know how long it’s going to last.
Prayers for no adverse side effects from the medication, the abdominal fluid (and organs and lymph nodes while we are at it) to all heal excellently, the nerves to be in alignment and cause no pain and work correctly, and his strength to be restored. Continue to pray for our spirits to be strengthened and encouraged by our ever-present Lord. I am focusing on spending time with Esther right now, so prayers that nothing is missed in Peters care and for a peaceful, Holy-Spirit-fruit-filled transition back to being home with me over our little girl.
Our extended family has also been experiencing trials. Please continue to lift them up, too—2017 has been a year of many difficulties and battles.
It has been 4 months, 3 weeks and 1 day since we got the diagnosis. I am beyond thankful that there is no cancer in Peter. I am ready to see him experience a healthy, strong body again. No matter our physical state, we will continue to declare the wonderful works of our faithful Father God, comforter Holy Spirit, Savior Jesus Christ.

Continuing to pray and believe for full and complete restoration in Jesus' mighty name. We love you!!!
Agreeing in prayer with you for all of your needs.
His joy is your strength, so agreeing with everyone for your family and adding the supernatural joy of the Lord to fill your hearts in the midst of the "fire" you have walked through for almost 5 months!
