Rocco in recovery
Rocco came through surgery like a champ!
Initial evaluation after the surgery is that he is responsive, talking, performing above average (as we all would expect).
He already spoke with his surgeon!
Denise will get to see him soon.
Here are some details:
The first tumor has been removed and has been sent off to be biopsied.
It will be about a week until we hear the final results, and then they will determine a course of treatment. More waiting:(
He will have three week to heal and then will start appropriate therapies to treat the other tumor. No news on that at this point.
Rocco will spend the night in the ICU with Denise by his side.
They will continue to evaluate his progress but is on track to go home sometime this weekend.
Rocco is not up for visits yet. We will let you know when he is open for business J

Wonderful news - thank you for sharing Annie! I was thinking of Rocco, Denise and Kendall and family last night and this morning. Sending prayers for continued quick and smooth recovery post surgery!
