5-11 Mothers Day 2019
A banner day!!
He took the swallow test today and passed!! Woop Woop Woop. Now they will begin introducing liquids like naked juice, yogurt, and the like into his diet. He is super psyched to say the least. He walked lapping the floor twice today in am and pm so getting stronger each day.
They will keep him on ECMO as long as possible because it is better for the healing of his lungs than being on a vent machine. So, even though it seems like the ECMO machine is not a good thing to stay on it is in his situation. This team has been and is the best care anyone could ask for, miracle workers they are at that.
Tomorrow being Mother's Day, you can know without a doubt that his momma is bursting with joy! As she just wrote me, ”We are doing our best and we are part of an unbelievable miracle right in front of our eyes!!! Best Mother’s Day gift I could ever have.” The gift of life, Walkers life saved by the grace of God through whole bunch of miracles.
Our God is an awesome God, a God of miracles. Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there who know full well that each child is a miracle.

We are continuing to pray for our Walker. We look forward to the POST each afternoon, and give God all the CREDIT FOR WALKER’S life and ALL THE MANY MIRACLES. I am sure there are more coming!!!! Our grandchildren Ella, Jackson, Austin and Grant continue to pray for him. “Out of the mouths of babes. “. We continue to be touched by Dave and Candy’”s FAITH. A real testimony of TRUSTING WITH YOUR FATH. We are so excited for Walker’s journey tomorrow. Love you Walker!

Great News Dave!!!! Praying today specifically for Candy as my mama heart thinks about her daily!!!!
