Answer to prayers!

Our prayers from yesterday to blanket Walker in the peace of Christ, for supernatural healing, and a spirit of cooperation were certainly answered today. 

Candy’s report tonight after getting home is just excellent. She sat with him all this afternoon and he was at peace. Very alert today to all that is going on around him and positively engaged. He and Candy spoke a lot this today about all kinds of stuff, really for the first time since this began. They tried many different drinks and foods to see what was tasting good.

He walked 3 times today and his stats are good. He and Candy played 4 Square and talked of coming home. Candy helped him to understand that things will be different for sure and that we do not know at this time how he will progress exactly only that he will be coming home! It seems like a dream to hear Candy talk about this so casually tonight, her words are a Godsend to my ears.

Seems his taste buds have gone into hibernation for now anyway, not much is tasting good. Tomorrow he will try some Panera broccoli n cheddar soup with mac n cheese and some blueberry cake holes. At this rate his taste buds will be back in business before we know it eating us out of house n home per normal, gladly thanks be to God for that! :-)

He took some solid steps toward home today. And so great to here him talk about normal stuff like who’s driving my car? Always a bone of contention but less so today. And where are my ankle bracelets which were removed several months back. His mom comes home tells her story, head hits the pillow and bam she’s out like a light. A successful days work.

A Great day! I would say one that brings warmth to hearts eager for more of the same!!! Thank you God for this day and may we not grow weary in continuing to pray for Walker’s peace of mind and continued healing of his body so that all his organs return to the way that God created them. Amen.
