After 63 days on ECMO, it’s now been removed!!!
it seems just incredible because it is just that, thanks be to God Walkers life has been saved by using this amazing machine. And thank you God for giving Walker such a great team of Doctors- thank you Dr. Silvestri, Dr. Botta, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Cooper, Dr. Haim and many others for your amazing work in managing Walkers care to date. And thank you to all the awesome Nurses - Tiffany, Amanda, Melissa 1 and Melissa 2, Hannah, DeeDee, Dean, Stacy, Ryan, Alex, Jennifer, Mary, Wanya, Aimee, and many others. And thank you Alex, chaplain, and Jeremiah, critical care social worker.
I realize he is still in your care and will be for a while longer but we just wanted to thank you for helping to bring him through the ECMO phase of this so critical care. We are forever in your debt. And eternally grateful to our Father in Heaven from whom all blessings flow. Only to your cross we cling.

Amen 🙏🏻!!! We went from tiny baby steps to a giant leap!! We will continue to pray for his lung recovery, his kidneys and gallbladder function. And of course... no infections!!! To GOD be the glory!
