There’s only one!!

We made a deal yesterday with Walker, his doctor and I, that if he walked to the door at the end of the hall, he could see his doggies. So, got the word after lunch today from his Meema that he made the trek successfully. 👍👍💪 I loaded up Suki and Willow, headed off to Florida Hospital doggie bags at the ready. 

He was very happy, surprised to see his sweet doggies. Happy and a little sad that he doesn’t get to see them much. Doggies are such our heroes through difficult times, seeing them everyday helps to keep us sane. Their unconditional love ❤️ helps to fill the love tank when it’s feeling a bit low. Hmmm unconditional love what a concept! To think our God loves us that way is dog :-) gone sweet.

So, you can’t make this stuff up, but truth be told, a friend recommended a web site to me the other day called www.howmanyofme.com. The site searches a US Data base of 360 million names (current population) by first and last name and shows you how many people have your name. Here are the stats for clan McKnight:

David - 469, Laura - 101, Gail - 30, Erica - 26, Candace - 10 & there is only 1 - Walker Mcknight in all the USA!! 

Go figure, add this fact to our ever growing list of amazing things we have learned during this journey of a lifetime. And speaking of life and time, Walker is continuing his slow yet steady march towards better health, still a very sick boy yes, but he’s in the game and in it to win it. Family feeling more confident today after several much needed wins for him and us.
