Day 98 yikes!!
Can you believe we have been at this just shy of 100 days now!! Who woulda thunk. Not me, not my family, nor anyone else but here we are.
Today we, ok me, are officially declaring that Walker has turned the corner towards the road of total recovery!!! Whoop whoop, whoop. Actually history will show that things changed greatly on day 96, why only God knows for sure. All we know is that he had a reversal of attitude both mentally and physically on that day and it’s continued to improve. Praise God from whom all these blessings flow!! 🙏🙏🙏
Tuesday the 11th at end of day with only a little standing Candy says maybe tomorrow we can maybe get some walking in the room or whatever you can do. Taking it very slow with him. I call yesterday am to see how goes it and she says he just walked the entire length of the hall 320ft ! Like what, what, whaaat? Did not see that coming.
So in last 2 days he has been eating like normal as in just today Starbucks breakfast Sandwich, chipotle for lunch, pizza and French fries for dinner, a Milky Way, and topped it off with Cheetos. Now that’s what I’m talkin bout. That’s Walker Grey in the flesh. 👍 And he has walked 5 times the 320 ft trek plus standing many times along the way. We are so very excited inside not sure we can show it just yet but getting there. Thinking by end of weekend and we have more of the same then we can let out a big shout of thank you God!!!!
So we are now excepting donations to Walkers feed me fund :-) just kiddin. But We hope to be feeding him like never before to rebuild his body. His body has always responded well to work when he would do it so we are psyched to watch him grow. Candy is thinking that if all goes well he maybe home by early Aug. The current goal is to get him accepted into their in house rehab program that is top notch and very focused.
Please continue to pray for Walker asking for his continued success of mind and body growing better each day 🙏🙏👍👍😃😃😃😃😃♥️♥️♥️♥️

This is the most amazing news! I have been following your journey since a mutual friend of Candy's posted about it. I have been praying for all of you. You guys probably don't remember me but we were in a small group together led by Davies before you were married. It's been a lot of years and then I see a post about Walker. I have no doubt that God put it in my path on purpose for a purpose. I will keep praying for all of you!
I know you all and Walker must feel so encouraged! And my Dave and I are so so happy to hear this very positive news, knowing God is hearing our prayers from all around the country. 👏🙏👍💓

Awesome news! I know God is always hearing our prayers, but I have been earnestly begging Him to do something for Walker this week. This is the right time for Him to answer. I’m so happy for Walker and for you. This is better than I imagined. Isn’t that just like our God!🙏😊
