My Last Scheduled Chemo Infusion: Number 13

Quick Update: This journey began in April of this year, and eight months later following many rounds of chemotherapy, Thursday marks my final chemo infusion, number 13.  I'm glad to be so close to the light at end of the tunnel, and will be happy to have these infusions behind me.  I'll then have a CT scan next Tuesday and meet with my oncologist to determine next steps which may include lung surgery or just starting maintenance chemo (daily pills) in January.

The side effects of the chemo endured so far was not nearly as bad as I thought, and I think I can attribute that to a great support system from wonderful friends and family.  Thanks again for all that you do, happy holidays, and only 10 days until Christmas!

I don't even know where to begin. I don't even know how to tell you how truly inspiring you are. You've managed to maintain a positive attitude throughout this entire process, and there was not a single moment that I felt negative vibes from you. You have pulled through, just as we all knew you would and I'm so grateful for that. I'm so happy for you and your family, Jerome! <3 Gloria
