Doing Better
In our last update, Joe was about to eat seafood. Well, it went very good. No problems :) He's felt pretty good since Sunday with limited nausea and other side effects. Overall, he's feeling much better and vitals are good.
Today he wanted to go for a walk outside, but General Nancy had to strap him to the chair since it was misty/raining outside. No need to get chilled in the St. Louis weather. I think the rain is suppose to clear up by Thursday this week and he can get outside! Next step for General Nancy is getting him to either push a walker or wheel chair so if he walks too far, he has something to sit down on. He's a Hood = Stubborn. I'm sure General Nancy will win!
Joe took some time today to get caught up on his email, this site, and Facebook.
We have a big social outing on Thursday so stay tuned!
Thanks for your continued prayers and support! They mean the world to all of us.

Good to see you're feeling better each day. It's supposed to get nicer by tomorrow, so maybe you can enjoy some time outside! Love Ya!
Hello Joe, It is great to seeing you playing with the computer. I love to read the mail and do a few other things on the computer but the 4 and 9 year olds know how to work the things better than I ever will be able to. Mother had a small cancerous lesion removed from her hand on Tuesday so went up to be with her. She wanted me to sit down with her to work through the iPad so she could make notes. It is wonderful that at 92 she still is interested in learning all of the new information so she can communicate with us. We were looking through some of the communications on this web site and looking at some of the family photos. We talked and laughed about some of the great stories that occurred when the Hoods and Knaebel's used to get together. I remember it was body to body when we all had to sleep on the floor at your family house. Your faith and courage Joe are a true example for us all to follow. Keep up the great work, listen to Nancy and know that you will continue to be in all of our thoughts and prayers, Chris
