Joe's 72...or is it 41 - Happy Birthday!

Chronologically Joe turns 72 today!  However, his baby immune system is at Day 41.  Happy Birthday!!

To celebrate both occasions, Joe dined at Elephant Bar in West County with General Nancy, Courtney, great grandson John, and me.  His first trip out in public since his transplant!  Armed with his hat and hand sanitizer, he had some wonderful Orange Chicken and ate the entire meal.

After lunch, Joe, Nancy, Courtney and John went to the park across the street for a walk. They happened to run into Matt, Joe & Nancy's youngest son, who was there having lunch and walking around the lake.  Joe did walk 1/4 mile around the lake and was feeling pretty good.  Go Joe!!

Vitals continue to be strong. He reports he continues to feel pretty good with occasional tummy issues, but definitely getting better.

Thanks for your continued prayers and support!

Many Blessings!
