A quick update on Jeannette/Mom.  She continues to do well - the all imortant numbers holding steady.  She will get to work on her speech valve again this afternoon.  We are able to see daily her gaining strength.  It an amazing thing to behold and a privilege to share.

She is scheduled to return to surgery this evening for her final "gut check".  If everything looks good, they plan to begin closing her up.  As this is a longer procedure and taking place this evening, please don't be alarmed if we don't get an update out until the morning.  Joyce and Erica are sitting with her today with Mary Ann doing the two-floor sprint between rooms as she can.
