A Good Day!! 7/8/17

So guys, turns out when you don't have chemo your day goes so, so much better! 😉

Today was night and day different from yesterday. Peter actually made himself breakfast (he actually did it himself AND he ate! Both victories!), walked a few houses length up and down our street with me, was able to have more light in the house and handle us having normal paced conversations around him, he watched movies and had a short meeting with an intern today, took a shower all by himself, enjoyed Esther playing in the same room as him for a few hours, ate two and a half smoothies AND he ate a burger today! I WAS SHOCKED. His pain has been under control, we had no nausea problems, and he's been able to have music in the house. He still feels like his taste buds are muted and things taste so bland compared to before, but he is able to eat and drink today and we are so happy! He also slept through the night!!

Also, Tami sent me off for a massage today, and that was AMAZING.

A lot of you have asked about meals and other ways to help. Now that we've had a few days at home, I'm going to get a plan in place for the coming weeks and I'll post about it here.
