Organizing Team Dal Vera!

Dal Vera Friends,

Thanks so much for all you offers of help!  They are much appreciated.

Luckily there is a way to manage all your generous offers on this site.  If you click the “calendar” button, a calendar will pop up which will show any tasks, from meals to rides, that Denise needs a volunteer to handle.  You can then sign up for that task, and Denise and Rocco will know you have their backs:)

For those lovely folk who have offered to cook meals, Rocco is meeting with a nutritionist on Friday and will have some strict guidelines to follow.  Once we have those restrictions we will pass them on to you.

Thanks again for all the love and support!

Annie

I'm too far away to offer anything except good juju—and I'm sending tons and tons of that! Go, Rocco!

Denise, Here are some places you may want to investigate: Duke, Dr. Henry Friedman UCSF, Dr. Michael Prados I have also heard good things about MD Anderson in Texas We went to Cleveland Clinic for my Dad (Dr. Eugene Barnett) I understand Dr. Barnett is doing immunotherapy now (which was not an option for us, but I heard they are having some success with it). I am not sure what type of train cancer Rocco has, but in my dad's case it was a glioblastoma. Duke is doing cutting edge work and they have been the gold standard for some time. The clinical trials at UCSF also seem promising. It sounds like you are leaving no stone unturned but I just wanted to share this. Please call and/or email me if you need any info, anytime. I am here for you!
