Transitioning Into Recovery

From dad...

The last 24 hours have proven to be extremely painful due to some expected changes. The anesthesiologist under the direction of  Dr. Conway placed an epidural in her back to provide relief during surgery which was allowed to remain a short time afterwards to assist with post surgery pain management. Though we were expecting a medicinal transition, we must admit - the pain associated with it was much more than anticipated. After much prayers and medicinal measures to bring stability and calmness, she was eventually able to settle down and get some much needed rest for the remaining of the night.

Thanks for your continued prayers...

James, I talked to Mona this evening and could tell she was in much pain. Glad to hear she is better and settling down for the night. I thank God for continuing to hold, strengthen, and comfort you and Mona as her healing moves forward. Take comfort in knowing you are not alone. Many are praying for Mona and you. The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. Love you guys. Auntie LuLu
