We are hopeful that we have pain and nausea under control and that we can possibly be discharged today!
Pray for wisdom, angels to protect us and be extra shock asborbers for the driving, and peace for whenever discharge happens. [...]
Things are progressing, slowly but surely. Peter is still dealing with a lot of pain. But he has no IV now!
There was talk of acute rehab, but if he keeps progressing at this rate that may not be needed. [...]
I have so much I want to say. We love you and and we couldn’t walk this road without our community. Your prayers and actions have been the hands of Jesus in our lives. Your gifts have been The Father’s provision made manifest. Thank you from the bottom of our heart. [...]
Esther is discharged! Peter is doing so well he transferred out of the step down level to THE BEST HOSPITAL ROOM I HAVE EVER SEEN. Dr Mimi Zhang is unbelievable (it wasn’t a resident who caught the mistake with oxygen, it was her) and one of my favorite people in the world right now. Today was one of the hardest days of my life. I trust You, Jesus. No matter what I trust You!! đđ»đđđđ»[...]

Thank you everyone for praying and keeping us in your thoughts. The support of our community truly has made all the difference. I can't say it enough! Thank you![...]

We had a great first day meeting our doctors, learning about what is to come, and we are feeling so at peace about the surgery that needs to be done here in Indiana. [...]
We head out for Indiana shortly (Sunday afternoon 10/22)!
Tomorrow they will be doing tests to confirm the plan for surgery. I believe he is getting a CT Scan and having all the labs and tumor markers checked tomorrow. Be praying for those results! Health for his body, strength for recovery, and noooo cancer! No adverse symptoms from chemo (they can keep showing up for months after you’ve stopped) or from the surgery. [...]
