Chemo Begins Today

We are not moving forward with fear; we are moving forward with peace and the leading of the Lord. I believe God has orchestrated who we needed to talk to when, and that fills me with hope. Pray

Prolly not pneumonia. Nodules in lungs multiplied. We have a few things to do before we can start chemo so pray blessing, speed and favor.

God is so good to us. [...]

Admitted - pneumonia

We've just heard that Peter has pneumonia (after being at the ER since 3:30 pm). Please pray for this illness to leave, his strength to regain quickly, no more vomiting and pain to leave or be controlled with meds that he can take up until chemo starts. [...]

ER Update

Finally Peter is dozing. He's in a lot of pain and can't keep anything down. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, grace for Peter, and Tami and I as we stand by him. Breakthrough in pain management and direction about what to do next. Protection over every system in Peter's body. [...]

7 Year Anniversary & Camp Begins

In the midst of all the literal and figurative headaches, exhaustion, good family connections, details, chores, planning, naps, sleepless nights, learning and take-it-minute-by-minute life that our world has become, Peter and I were well enough to spend a few hours alone together tonight to celebrate our 7th anniversary. Peter enjoyed his first good, "real" meal (in what felt like weeks), and we talked, prayed and just got a minute to catch our breath. It was exactly what our hearts, minds and spirits needed.[...]
