Hi All!
Shannon's second day home has been busy! She was up, showered and dressed by 9am. Makeup on and everything! Best of all, Graeter's ice cream was for breakfast 😉[...]
This morning Shannon was released from the hospital and is currently comfortably resting at the condo! Her progress has been remarkable (she showered herself this morning!) and she truly has no impairment, AT ALL (other than the stitches in her noggin).[...]
Today Shannon made a trip to the in-house beauty salon and got a much-desired shampoo and styling. She looks great! Once again, the folks at MD Anderson go above and beyond.[...]

Here's our Superwoman this morning! She will be out of the bed and sitting in the chair later this morning as well as taking a walk around the nurses station![...]
Thanks, Jane for reminding me of your login and not making me get my own!
Shannon wrapped up her night with a plate of fruit, a croissant, two bottles of water, and finally, some sleep. Her strength came back after eating and she naturally started trying to plan the next 5-10 years. [...]
Got to spend some time with Shannon in the post-op recovery room. She is her usual hilarious, feisty self! Her eyes are a bit swollen from the surgery, but she's awake and eating a lot of ice chips (and definitely ready for the tuxedo'd waitstaff to serve her 4-star dinner).[...]
