July 22 (Sunday): 450pm update

Just visited Jeannette.   Nothing new to report.  She is sleeping restfully, and she has lots of nurse attention and enough hoses and electronic monitors keeping her company that she looks like an astronaut getting ready for a space mission.   To me her color looks good.  

The sounds of the ICU unit remind you that there are a lot of very sick people here, and every "beep" or "ping" or "ding-ding" makes you jumpy.    Jeanette is in her own room, although the room has no door and is within sight of the ICU monitoring station.    To me it seems she is in good hands--John
