October 16 (Tuesday) - 1130am

Just finished talking with Rich; Jeannette's in for a round of "OT" (Occupational Therapy) right after an earlier round of "PT" (Physical Therapy).   Sounds like a busy gym session day to me!    The doctor had ordered a new round of tests yesterday, checking for any infections, blood work, etc, and the good news is nothing bad was found and all things continue to point towards the all important surgery sometime next week.  They haven't got the definitive answer from the doctor on the WHERE and the WHEN, and so at this time all I can report is that things are still being decided on the timing of the pending leg repairs.  Rich said Jeannette continues to improve, and today has been a day without nausea.   She is in good spirits, upbeat about the surgery, but frustrated about the slow pace of the healing ordeal.     As I write this update the bottom line is there are no specifics to report right now.   All in all things continue in that slow and steady pace of continued healing, and once again, the "no news" is "good news."   -- John
