Rich and Jeannette are having a good day. Both were looking really good on the FaceTime camera. Jeannette had the best physical therapy/occupational therapy ever ( hope that does not go to Ty's head). She was doing some sit ups on her own and catching a ball.
The big news to report is that doctors are moving forward with the surgical plan. They ordered a full workup of CT/MRI/X-rays, etc, and they will be meeting next week to firm up the plan. After that, they will brief Rich and Jeannette, with the actual surgery to follow after that. Of course, Jeannette wants them to get on with it, NOW! But those of us former military aviators and maintainers certainly understand the sliding ETIC (estimated time in commission-flyable airplane). We want the pink body maintenance plan to result in a fully mission capable (golfing, walking, tennis) Jeannette, none of this fly as is business. So Jeannette is trying to be patient. To help the time pass more quickly, she certainly enjoys hearing from all the Team-Keida fans out there. She checks this site daily with her iPad. Keep those prayers and posts coming! Please include the totally awesome staff at St Elias! They are great!!!!! - Sully
