Thank you all for thoughts & prayers.
Unfortunately Meghan is back at UMMC. She did not bounce back as we had hoped. Meghan woke this morning still feeling the effects of yesterdays round 4 of chemo. Doctors felt in best for her to come in to be examined. After spending most of the day, doctors felt it would be best for Meghan to spend the night so they could continue monitoring her. I left Meghan at 6:30 tonight and she was smiling and eating bowls of chereos. I expect her and Michele to come home tomorrow. [...]
round 4 - we will remember this day.
Started great, breakfast at Double T, easy ride to UMMC, tried on wigs for first time, round 4 Chemo was a breeze, had a begal after chemo, left still feeling hungry, had a late lunch or early dinner at Green Turtle........... Then the bottom dropped out of Meghan's day. Did we say round 4 was a breeze? WRONG...Round 4 snuck up on her and did a number, poor girl as of 9:30 PM Meghan still has not rebounded.[...]
As I type Meghan is settling in for the night, but before she does she needs her good night stuff. 6 meds. Either she sleeps like a baby or will be wired. So Meghan is doing her thing and tells me "Good goo". Meghan "what is good goo"? "Milk died green"says Meghan. Meds taste better with milk, and better better when the milk is died green.......lol.[...]

Meghan woke this morning with one incredible appetite. 3 egg whites, 5 pcs bacon, maybe 6 lost count & on 3rd bowl of cereal. At this rate two things come to mind. Send her back to eat the hospital food (not) go to grocery store and stock up. So Michele & I will be grocery shopping today.[...]
Yeah!! We are home again. After doing the math, out of the last 15 days we have spent 11 days at UMMC. During last weeks stay we were in the A wing and this week we were in the B wing. This morning the A wing had to be evacuated due to plumbing problems, which were taken care of quickly and in the end only one patient has to be given a new room. Glad we were in the B wing this time around :)[...]
Meghan received her first round of chemo yesterday. She did exceptionally well all the way up to the end. Then she began to feel very sick. As a precaution, and because of the long distance from the hospital to home, the doctor decided it would be in her best interst to remain in the hospital overnight. We were due back the next morning by 10 am anyway for her second session of chemo and again on Friday for a third session. Today the doctors decided they would keep her in the hospital until after her next treatment scheduled for tomorrow morning.[...]
