Popcorn, radiation and trees.

I met with my radiation doctor yesterday and we decided that we will treat the tumor on my T8 vertebrae but not do anything with the one on my T12 since it appears to be stable. I liked last week better.

Last week was wonderful. We had a great Thanksgiving in Saint Louis and I had a good appetite. This week however has been a little rough. I had chemo on Monday and the side effects have hit harder than normal. It's Thursday and I'm still feeling kind of lousy. We also think that we've determined what is causing the pain on my left side. A closer look at my last CT scan showed two spots on my spine, one of which is right against the nerve bed, in line with where the pain is. What does this mean? Probably radiation on my spine. It sounds like a fairly easy target to treat. I had an MRI on Tuesday (while still connected to chemo...that was an adventure) and should hear back regarding a game plan within the next few days. Thanks for checking in, Korbin
