Happy 4th, is this a great country or what?

So, our last prayer request was to kill the bacterial infection that Walker had Sunday night and I am very happy to report he is good and it is gone. And one of the Doctors told Candy that if she or I had an infection like his, gram negative rods in the blood candy called it, a blood infection, all part of my ICU education, that we probably would not have survived it. When I get to Heaven there are a few questions I will be asking God straight away. First, what is it with the 40 day mark for trials all about? Why not 35 or 45. Why 40? Second, how does he read prayers? All at once, one by one, by subject, does volume count? Hey I have an inquiring mind, what? Last, scripture says you will never give one more hardship than one can endure, is there ever a time when you over shot the mark on that?[...]
