All done with chemotherapy.....till next time.

Natalia's platelets were checked this morning and she passed! She was not a happy camper to be back getting her finger poked today....pouting at the fact that she was getting admitted. :( (even though this is a short stay.) After a looooong day of waiting for a room to open up in the unit, accessing in the infusion room, getting labs, checking for blood in the urine, and waiting for her chemo to be especially made, we made it back to the floor AND got our chemo shortly after!! ( we usually get it past ten pm.) Hooray!! Celebrating the little things![...]

Checking in for labs and a possible admission this morning, Natalia's numbers are great...but her platelets are too low. :(

Her numbers are higher today, but too low for her to receive chemotherapy. Her body has not recovered from the last dose. Trusting wholeheartedly that JESUS is in control of Natalia's treatment....when we pray for HIS will and HIS purpose for her, we TRUST that whatever the outcome...he is in charge of it. Peace....the peace that transcends ALL human understanding guards our hearts and minds.[...]

This painting was beautifully done by an AMAZING young lady....a 4th grader in brother's class....with a BIG heart!  She happened to have it with her in school to give to Natalia!!  Uplifting words to BUILD UP Natalia!! She LOVED it![...]

Guess who is at school this morning??

Natalia asked last night if she could attend school!!  She was sooo excited this morning, she got up x-tra early and got ready quickly! Also, it is brother's first day back! He is going to be going for half days, and then moving up to full days. Brother pushed his sister's wheelchair into her classroom and she was received with a warm welcome from all her friends!![...]
